It seems that the fall of 2009 is a bit of a slow period in films, as there are not really big hit films that you know are going to be good (at least up to a certain point, as can be expected from Hollywood). However, there was one film that was massively hyped and therefore should be watched: 2012. Boy, was that a dissapointment...
Slow times at the cinema these days... Must be the financial crisis or something (damn you, American banks). Anyhow, this week we decided to go watch Twilight. What a horrible, horrible mistake...
With both WALL-E and The Dark Knight down, I've already seen all decent summer blockbusters, so the only thing left is mediocre crap now. Yet still, we decided to go see The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. That turned out to be not so smart.
It's not funny. I'm rather going to enjoy some Battlestar Galactica instead.
This week, the popular vote (1 vs 1 and 1 undecided) made us choose the sneak preview as film of the week, which turned out to be No Country For Old Men. Keep on reading for my review, I promise you won't be disappointed.
